Bigger and smaller peds, horses and animals, saved as real models
rm_scaler_redm lets you pick any ped, horse or animal in RedM, set its size in game and save it as a new model under its own name. Spawn that name from any script (a stable, an NPC spawner, a ped menu) and it simply is that size. Nothing runs every frame and no other script needs to know about it.

Pick a model

/scaler opens the editor on the Browse tab: every base game ped and horse, almost all with a picture, searchable by name and group (horses, animals, townsfolk, story and online characters).- Or press Pick in world, look at any ped or horse and press E.
- The Server tab lists the addon peds your server streams.
- A green Ready badge means the model can be saved right now.
No game files to export

- For base game peds and horses the scaler fetches that ped's data from fivemad.com when you press Save (about 15 KB) and writes the files itself. No CodeX, no OpenIV, nothing to extract.
- That covers 1,973 of the game's 1,982 peds and horses, including the online characters.
- Addon peds are built straight from the resource that streams them.
Set the size and save

- One size slider plus quick buttons from x0.25 to x3. The game scales a ped as a whole, so the value is the same on every axis.
- The preview is drawn at the new size with the game's own ped scale. Side by side puts the original next to it. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.
- Pick a name (it suggests
<model>_s1) and press Save to stream. The copy is written into one output resource that restarts itself, so the new model streams right away. Spawn clone puts it in front of you. - Names are checked: no base game names, no names another resource already streams.
Library

- Every copy you saved, with its source model and scale.
- Spawn it to look at it again, or delete it (its files go and the output resource restarts).
Live player scale (/setscale)
/setscale <id> 0.8 and /setscale <id> reset resize a player on the spot with the game's own ped scale.- Synced to everyone through state bags, players who join later included. Works from the server console too.
- Optional, one switch in cfg.lua, with your own lowest and highest value.
Checked in game
- Copies measured in game at 0.58 (a horse at x0.6), 0.71 (a man at x0.7) and 1.95 (a cat at x2).
- A small horse can be ridden. The rider sits as high as on a full size horse, so under about x0.8 the rider floats a little above the saddle. That height is set by the game, not by the copy.
- Online characters (
cs_mp_*, mp_u_*) copy with all their outfit parts.
Safe by default
- Ace permission or framework admin, checked on the server for every action.
- The output folder must be one the script created, so a typo in cfg.lua never overwrites another resource.
- One save at a time server wide, and spawned copies are cleared before the output restarts.
- Optional Discord webhook log for every save and delete.
