Build on your RedM map, in game
rm_mapeditor_redm is a full map editor inside RedM. Fly a free camera, pick from more than 13,000 RDR2 props with a picture of each, place them with real handles, light the scene and save it as a layout your whole server sees. Race tracks, town markets, outlaw camps, mines: no framework needed.

13,290 props, every one with a picture

- Every prop in the list was checked in game to place anywhere on the map. No list full of names that do nothing.
- Search by name, model or hash; filter by 31 categories (seating, storage, lighting, wagons, signs, plants, rocks and more), by type and by where it belongs. Star the ones you use.
/prop_inspect shows any prop on its own: turn it and zoom.
Placing that feels right
- Move and turn handles, world or own axes, snapping, a grid, exact values in the panel.
- F drops anything onto the ground; F7 steps out and walks you through what you built.
- Undo and redo, duplicate, bring to the crosshair, groups for big builds, collision off.
Hundreds at once

- Scatter rocks and bushes with a brush, fill an area, lay a fence along a line. Fence panels are fitted between the corners, so a corral closes clean.
The map's own objects

- Turn on world objects and hide a wagon wheel, a crate or a hitching post the game placed. It stays hidden for everyone while the layout is active, and in an exported resource.
Lights, time and weather

- Point lights with any colour, range and brightness. Set the time and the weather for the whole session while you work.
Layouts for your server

- Save under a name (it suggests the town you are in), open again, copy, rename, delete.
- Activate a layout and every player sees it, including the ones who join later.
- Build together: invite other builders into your session.
- Export a ready resource folder, a Lua table for your own script, or a layout JSON to move a build to another server.
For developers
openEditor and openInspector let your own housing, camp or shop script use the editor and keep the result itself.
