Place anything, in game
rm_mapeditor is a full map editor inside FiveM. Fly a free camera, pick from more than 30,000 GTA V props with a picture of each, place them with real handles and hand the finished build back as data: a layout your whole server sees, a ymap, a resource that stands up on its own, or rows for your own housing script.

30,000 props, every one with a picture

- Around 23,000 props, 5,000 elements (glass, light rigs, decals) and 2,200 structures (walls, floors, window frames), each rendered and measured.
- Search by label, model name or pasted hash; filter by category, tag and kind. Star the ones you use.
- Every row knows its size, ground offset, triangles, collision, embedded lights, DLC and the gamebuild it needs, and a prop that will not spawn where you stand says why.
Filter the whole game

- Categories with their counts, kinds (props, structures, elements) and where a prop belongs, so 30,000 rows come down to the dozen you want.
Placing that feels right

- Move and turn handles, world or own axes, a grid from 0.1 to 1 metre, edge snapping, typed coordinates and rotation.
- Undo and redo across everything, tint any prop with palettes, collision off, recolour a lamp post's own light.
Hundreds at once

- Scatter with a brush, fill an area, lay fences and lamp posts along a line. A fill can take several props at random from the brush.
The map's own props

- Switch world objects on and click the map itself: hide a street light, a bin or a wall, or replace it with an editable copy in the same place.
Lights

- Point and spot lights with colour, range, brightness, cone and shadows, drawn while the layout is active and by an exported resource.
Layouts, sessions and export

- Save, reopen, copy and activate a layout for every player on the server.
- Build together: invite editors and viewers, see their cursors, share the time and weather, optionally in a routing bucket of your own.
- Export a layout JSON, a ready resource, a Lua table, ymap XML or Spooner XML. Import layouts, ymap XML and Spooner/MapObject XML.
- Fold your own prop pack into the catalog with the bundled tool: thumbnails and measurements generated for you.
A ready resource in one click

- The resource export writes a folder you drop into resources: props, lights, hidden map pieces, tint and collision, standing up on its own with no database.
For developers

openEditor turns the editor into a placement UI for any resource: pass a shell or an origin and get the rows back in its frame, ready to store.- Filter what the picker offers, cap the count, hold it to a zone. A viewer export and two lookups answer what a prop is.
/prop_inspect opens any prop on its own with its measurements.
